Hi all
Does anyone know if you can just have adsl line fitted to your home, or do you have to have phone line installed first then apply for the internet,Trying to keep the cost down!

No,you need the phone line to carry the ADSL signal.

Get a dongle Much cheaper and faster Ive found But no so good if you download a lot of stuff Great for e mails and web surfing

I applied for my phone line and ADSL at the same time. Phone line was connected within 3 days - they gave me the modem and all the stuff to set up and rang me when it was ready for me to connect - all up and running within 6 days :-)
