Unless the belief of club before country is finished then nothing will change.

There is probably only one person who believes in the England team and that is Mr. Hodgson. Most "fans " cry crocodile tears over England but don't really care, as long as their club team performs.

I think the England team have shown how deserving they are of their salaries and reputations.

Over-rated prima donnas.No passion,No pride. :(
We got what we deserved,nothing.
When players like Terry Butcher,Tony Adams,Stuart Pearce,David beckham pulled on the England shirt you could see what it meant to them.
Our defence was poor in the warm up games and this continued into the WC.

No pun intended but I read the most brilliant tweet after England's loss to Uruguay:
"Football is coming home" by the illustrious Jeremy Clarkson.

James May kept it short: "Oh, c*ck"

Started watching England v Costa (nice to see Paulo Wanchop on the coaching staff - could have done with him on the pitch) it was like San Marino v Lichtenstein but without the passion so switched over to Italy v Uruguay.

80 mins in Suarez headbutts an Italian defender who admittedly had been "loose" with his arm as they jumped together but then Suarez appears to do his speciality "a rolling bite" !!

The defender is clearly appalled running at the referee with his shoulder bared to show him the marks!

Uruguay were horrible in the final few minutes - even though the Italians are no saints - pulling people down, feigning injury so I hope they go out soon - but Suarez - if he did and it looks like he did - needs sorting out and is a disgrace to Liverpool.
