Internet explorer saves lots of information from web pages Lance - so if you visited yesterday for example it will store much of what you read so it can load it quickly next time. So next time being today, it sees you want to load a page it stored before and loads the one it saved. The idea is to please you by loading things quicker. It works well with websites that don't change much (or at all) but for fast moving pages like busy forums and news etc it can give old info.
The answer after all that is to refresh a few times, or stick with Mozilla.
