Q.V.C. are advertising a Buddha Shaped Flameless Candle. Basically it is made of wax and has two batteries inside it and a timer switch to set to to stay on for 4 or 8 hours. It sold out and is now on a wish list to order it. The price is £27.00 plus £4.95 postage. Made by a company called Bella Notte.
They have exactly the same produce in Home Bargains for £7.99. I was in today and the girl told me that they had sold out yesterday and re-stocked today.
It just shows how much profit these Tele Sales Companies are making.

Home Bargains Jacqui ? Surely not, your street cred has definitely gone right out of the window now !! ;) 8) A branch of this company has just, within the last few days, opened about 1 mile from where we live, & Lorraine & I popped in , ( as one does ), just to be nosey, you know, we were surprised at the greatly reduced prices on branded goods, & shall definitely be going again. We saw those lights by the way, looked quite nice, if you like tat !! : :) :o

I would say my street credit goes up by using this great shop. I am a savvy shopper and love a bargain and I can get plenty in Home Bargains. A really good place to shop for great reductions on lots of branded goods and of course, Home Bargains is a Liverpool company.

They make excellent presents for people you don't like but feel obliged to give gifts {e.g. boss, in-laws}.

This post is not about the produce but about the profit...

Jacqui unless I had an interest in the product, I would have no idea who was selling it, where, or at what profit! ;D

I lost out on one of these on Ebay. It went to the highest Buddha.

This post is not directed specifically at you and it's not really about one produce, this was just an example. It is a warning to members who want to buy from Tele Sales Channels. These Channels seem to be making huge profits, so if anyone is tempted to buy ANYTHING on Tele Sales, shop around first.
I know from postings over the years that some members do buy from these Channels.
Thanks to Gordon for letting me know that QVC belongs to Sky.
