I think Shanghai is OK and is good value for money, however, Draganaro in Hisaronu maybe more your cup of tea. It is more up market and is therefore more expensive. It has been in the village for a good 10 years or more so has stood the test of time.

Having tried both I have only been to Dragonaro once and Shanghi about 5 or 6 times.
I obviously prefer Shanghi as I think it offers better value for money.
I thought the ambience in Dragonaro was very good and authentic, however I thought it was overpriced.
Both are very popular and get busy.

I first went to Dragonaro/Dragonara in 2004 I think and was pleased to see in the drinks menu Jack Daniels: 6, which was fantastic as JD was generally 8 or 10 lira in Calis.

Of course there is always a twist whenever Scunner is pleased. 6 quid!!!!

Great restaurant though, I don't think there is better if you want Chinese over there.

I agree, Dragonaro is heads and tails above the rest.

Must admit to prefering Shanghai Blue....We weren't impressed by the food or service at Dragonaro last year, so we haven't been back.

We think both are good but prefer Shanghai Blues. If you didnt reckon that chris66 may be best to wait till you're back in the UK because I dont think you'll get much better and could be disappointed again.
