We use Garanti in Fethiye, there is a guy called Alper upstairs speak excellent English, I have transferred money from Nationwide to Garanti online to my GBP account easily takes a between 2 hours and a couple of days to arrive. Internet banking is easy to use, they send you a code to your mobile you can register an English mobile so you can access your account from the UK, you can set up DDs up easily online including water and pay bills change money etc>

Finans bank in fethiye in the main high street, past migros with it on your right, is very good, has now had a section built for british customers, I think it may be the top floor, they all speak perfect English and understand English banking systems, try them all, lots to choose from in fethiye.good luck.

Add to your list of potential banks HSBC and TEB, both of which are reasonable and offer all of the services described above by Mark.  There are some advantages in HSBC if you have an HSBC account in the UK, particularly a Premier Account.

The HSBC and TEB branches that tend to be used by Brits are located in Passpatur.  LIke the other banks the people who deal with UK customers are located on the first floor and have good english.
