Hi Everyone.

I am new to this forum and also house hunting in Turkey!

Visiting Koca Calis on Monday in the hope that the villa on paper looks as nice in reality!

Can anyone give me any advise on Koca Calis and area?

Yes - we have had some bad flooding over the last few winters. Make sure any house you buy is either built up high or well away from the main areas that flood - unless of course you are willing to take a risk on a really well priced property. Rumour from our Turkish friend is that the drainage (and flooding) will be sorted wthin 2 years as Fethiye Council are taking over. I won't hold my breath though.

Having said that - Koca Calis is wonderful the rest of the year and if you want to be away from the masses and have a relaxing place to chill then it's the best.
