Does this mean you will be removing your winter vest? Maybe even the woollen socks will be cast aside too!

No Fabian, it means that I am spending today celebrating the downfall of that appalling woman now clinging on to No 10 before her Parliamentary Party kick her out.

I'm celebrating the fact that the Marxist Brothers didn't get their limp wristed, innumerate, grubby hands anywhere near

the reins of power.   Pleased Abbot is recovered and out and about in her Mercedes Limo.  Safe to let her out now. !!!    ;)

She is walking dead. Tories don't like "losers". She called a surprise election all by herself after a vision on a Snowdonian walk. She decided that this was an election all about her - the big "I AM" - as strong and stable. The advertizing said VOTE MAY not VOTE CONSERVATIVE. So it is all her silly fault. Do you think the Tory party will forgive her? Or are senior people in the party chatting about when would be the best time to tell her to go? Is she the most stupid PM in living memory? Not the most stupid leader of the Tory Party, of course, since Ian Duncan Smith takes that accolade.

And another chuckle came from Paul Nuttall's result. He couldn't do a lot of campaigning in Boston and and Skegness because he couldn't find it on a map. So he got less than 8%. Ho, ho. But UKIP is still relevant though. Official.

That's a trifle hash - coming from a tubby chap who likes to dress up in women's underwear.

So now May limps on with the permission of the headbangers in the DUP. That'll make for strong and stable government, won't it?

I have been offline for a while, but now I am back on I see the farce that is the current UK government/non-government has become more hysterical. May told us yesterday that there was agreement in principle with the DUP but now we are told that the statement was issued "in error" and no agreement has yet been reached. It is rumoured that the DUP will want a cheque for £750 million from the UK government as their price (money for NI investment to buy off the farmers who are losing EU money). Then a deal with the anti-gay party might be possible. But May also needs those crucial 12 Scot Tory votes that are under the control of a leader who is soon to marry her lesbian partner. DUP want an open border and Scots want a soft Brexit. So "controlling our borders" is gone and so is "no deal is better than a bad deal". But it is OK we have just gone from "strong and stable" to "stability and certainty". No change there then, you would hardly notice she lost the election - perhaps nobody told her.

Nobody won. That's why parliament is in turmoil.

Just to clarify this winning and losing business. Boris Johnson, in a Sun article, told readers “I am delighted to see that we Tories have just won Clwyd South". Unfortunately the returning officer for Clwyd had just declared the Labour candidate to be the winner by over 4000 votes. Barmy Boris, what a character! Leader of the Tory Party come September?

I returned from holiday to find a copy of our neighbourhood newspaper waiting for me. I was interested in a story about Barmy Boris (the next Tory leader leader? September?). At he end of the election campaign he had visited the local Sikh Temple to support the local Tory candidate. He took a splendid Boris-style press photo with a striking orange turban. Unfortunately, in his address to the Sikh community of Bristol East he chose to highlight the great  post-Brexit opportunities of increasing Britain's exports to India - especially whisky. The Sikh religion prohibits alcohol, and promoting it in one of their Temples was thought disrespectful by the people he was addressing. It didn't go down well. We, of course, know that it is just because he is barmy.

[The Labour candidate won the seat and increased her share of the vote by 21.5%].
