Have you any recommendations for UK based companies for our turkish house and Dask insurance please.
We currently renew while on holiday but would rather now do it here in the uk to free up our time while in turkey. Any recommendations please.
Or a turkish company we can use here by email in the UK.

The only UK based company that'll cover Turkey is Intasure, and personally I wouldn't recommend them as their premiums have been creeping up to the point where they are extremely uncompetitive with local agents or banks.
We've been using Finansbank in recent years, not much between them and a selection of quotes we've had from brokers. They do both household insurance and DASK and renewal is a quick email or telephone call.

We also stopped using Intasure for the reasons John has stated.
Quick and simple to set up both insurances via your bank. Ours is with Garanti and renewal is automatic should you not wish to cancel.

Thanks both, yes I have had a quote from intasure it was high, but does come recomended for its excellent service (from a friend), which is more than I can say for our previous company.
Also I know it probably sounds lame but we are now at the point where we just don't want to be trudging around with 2 kids, doing the bank, doing the insurance, going back to the bank cause so and so was at lunch...... and before you know it a complete day has gone by, when i could of sorted it from the comfort of my sofa ;)

Anne, Garanti still do my building and contents but won't do my Dask. what's your experience?

We have DASK with them Ken. Was just renewed in October
