Title: Superb Car Insurance Deal with the RAC - Be Quick!

Just sorting out Mrs Scunner's flying snot (green VW Polo) insurance and it has gone up again from £140 to £185 (even with an extra year NCB, how's that work out!!!).

Anyway - cashback site TopCashBack are doing a promotion with the RAC - for every new policy with RAC via them, you get £75.75 back. Their quote was slightly more (£8) than the cheapest I'd found at £193 - so with the cash back I'm down to £117, I'm well chuffed.

It's only on promotion for the next two days but it doesn't matter - I've sorted it for a start date of the end of next month.

TopCashBack is like Quidco, you get cash back if you go via their site links to useful places like RAC, Thomas Cook, A2B transfers, Comet, you name it, they're probably there. I got £150 cash back just for going via their site when I got Virgin Media. And if you join using my link I get £2.50, what's not to like!!!

My renewal was £1600+, shame I couldn't get it for the price of the Snotmobile!

In fairness the bogey on wheels is 15 years old, probably worth no more than £800 and won't do more than 2,000 miles in the entire year, hence the cheap insurance. On the plus side it has only done 32,000 miles, starts without fail and is an auto, so assuming she remembers to steer, should live forever.
