Mrs Ticket's Birthday Present
« on: April 15, 2014, 14:16:02 PM »
I thought you might like to see the prezzy I bought this year for Mrs Tickets on her birthday on Sunday.

They are called George (left) and Lilly (right), aka Georgie and Lil.  Got them from the pet shop in Fethiye and they are settling in nicely.  Although I could not understand the caustic comment from her good self when she told me she was delighted with the gift and that 'it made a change from ironing boards, irons and deep fat fryers, that you usually buy'.  Can anybody explain to me what she meant?   ;)

I think she means she is delighted Pete that you now have 3 Birds to do the housework.  ;)  :)

UBT, I don't think Mrs Tickets fully appreciates the thought that you obviously put into buying her birthday present.  8)

It is clear UBT doesn't have money to throw away on trinkets such as jewellery or gold necklaces. He is doing his best on a tight budgie.
