Post by: desmartinson on January 07, 2012, 08:24:17 AM: High winds, lashing down with rain, cant get out. whats going on? its like been back in bloody England, just ordered a crate of Effes for today. ;) :)

Personally had expected a weather warning to be put out but none of the Turkish forecasts seemed to be picking up on it.
For anyone interested in such things this site seems pretty accurate tho slightly more complex than perhaps many are used to.

for info, RHS of map third of way up follow coastline, that big indent bay is fethiye, Calis to the left thereof.

It's lovely here in York today (just to rub it in)

On a serious note - anyone who has a property but who is in the UK - it might be worth getting your agent/property management to go and check it out over the weekend. Nikkie (sunnyd) has just told me about the awful weather last night and is going down to look at our place as soon as she can get down there.

Yes its the same low pressure system thats been moving south since it hit the UK on Mon/Tues.

Lovely sunny cold day in Edinburgh today, but would still like to be in Calis.
