Thompson have stopped all the Monday and Friday flights to Dalaman for this year which were almost full the whole season and very good flight times, NOW they put a Thursday flight not so good times going out they are using a strange airline called TIBET AIRLINES flight days / times which does not suit several people we know and I expect many others .
Any one heard of this airline ??

However, I suspect that your actual airline is "to be announced", often shortened to TBA - which just happens to be the airline code (ICOA) for Tibet Airlines.
No danger of you ending up in Kathmandu if the pilot forgets where he's going...

Yep. Bournemouth-Turkey would certainly be a radical departure from their usual routes.

Further to my previous post on 2 nd march re Thompson Bournemouth to dalaman flights our friends who were looking at this route and changes / deleting flights by Thompson so they phoned Thompson and were told it is going to be Thursday flights with Tibet Airlines airbus flights which start from dalaman going to Bournemouth then out returning to dalaman .once weekly only
They live in Dorset and the cost with Thompson flight / & hotel in calis is on par with Gatwick without the need for 2hrs plus traveling [ only 15 mins from their home ] so they booked up as its far better for them , the email confirmation came and upon going to my booking to book seats together and ex leg room they found that no allocated seats can be booked in advance only when they turn up at check in desks.
Talk about a Thompson chinese takeway >:( >:( They are still going and ill update in due course how good or bad the flights were.
Anyone else booking the route beware

I'll bet you the price of an efes your flight is with someone like Sunwing, and definitely not Tibet Airlines :)

They'll probably leave it to the last minute to put seats in once they know how many
victims passengers they'll have. ;)

We are going in September but can only fit in 10 days this year, and we're hoping to fly from Bournemouth, but with only one flight a week we would have to go 7 or 14 days. We are now flying from Gatwick, bonus is though the outgoing flight is on a new 787 Dreamliner.

Nope J F it was freebird Turkish airline I put a £ 10 note in the charity collection box as I promised, and told the lady rattling the box who and why .

Booked our flight with Jet2. The plane was branded Jet2 and all the staff wore Jet2 uniforms but the flight was provided by Tiatn Airways.

There are several companies around the world who lease out aircraft and staff to larger organisations in their corporate colours. No different really than the haulage business.
