Only just seen this.. Brian was the first person. To invite us to their home when we first arrived in Fethiye.. We met him and his lovely wife loads of times and he was kind enough to donate many of his pots and plants (which he had many a dozen)  to our apartment block and we sold the rest at a coffee morning.. We couldn't believe it when he said that they were returning to the UK.. we thought that they would be the most unlikely to leave.. I think that at that point is when doubts set in as to whether Barrie and I would be there forever as planned.. Miss them both very much.
