Title: Turkish Restaurant in Portsmouth
Post by: canalman on May 01, 2005, 06:15:28 AM
Sue and I recently visited a new Kurdish/Turkish restaurant in Portsmouth. We went for lunch and everything was as we would hope to enjoy in Turkey.I even had two bottles of Efes with my meal and a Raki and Turkish coffee afterwards. The place has an indoor barbeque which is used in the evening. It was really good to be able to eat Turkish food and remind us of our 'second country'. It is definitely going to become one of our favourite places to go for a meal.

Hi Steve, it is in Albert Road near the traffic lights on the left hand side going towards the King's theatre. It is called Nemrut and it is number 94a. Maybe we could arrange to meet  you there some time.
