Not "Marks & Sparks", but Mumford & Sons, Lovers of this superb band will know that the long awaited new album "Babel" is on general release 24th September 2012. If you haven't heard of them or listened to any of their stuff, here's something from the first album to wet (or should that be whet ?) your appetite !!

Just spent the afternoon listening to two of their albums, Babel and Sigh No More.  Had never even heard of them until last year when they did a gig in Greenhead Park here in Huddersfield.  My daughter, who now lives in London, was mortified she couldn't get up to see them in her home town!  When she came up at Christmas I was listening to some of the music she was playing and said I quite liked it.  Lo and behold for my birthday a few days ago she sent me these two CD's.

Have really enjoyed them and can safely say they have another fan!   :)

Love Little Lion Man, despite the naughty words! They are a great band. It's a shame they have been labelled by some music snobs as 'fake folk' i.e you can't be a folk band if you went to private school. I think they are brill!

I think their sound is quite unique and as James Cordon said at the awards, how many bands can you "rock out" to a banjo ?? !!!   :)

I've never head the term 'fake folk' used but then again I'm pretty new to them.  Anyway, does it matter - if you like them, you like them, end of!  And plenty of people do so they're obviously doing something right!   ;)

Downloaded both albums on iTunes, I think they are brilliant.
