Vegetarians, if you fancy a change, why not try one of Tesco's "Steak and Ale" pies? If it's like the one I had last night there won't be any bloody meat in the damned thing.

Always buy my pies from Bert Fowlie in Strichen, Aberdeenshire he is an Scottish Award Winning Butcher, once you eat his pies you will never want a supermarket pie.  The pies are full of huge pieces of steak with no fat or gristle.

I was in his shop last week and the guy standing next to me was from Glasgow and was buying pies to take back.  He had a list of orders.
He also now has an online ordering facility so wherever you live in the U.K. you can have a Fowlie pie. ;)

OOPs did I spell it wrong.  Either way I do not like.

We like Jacqui have a good butcher in the village with nice individual pies for Mr Mac.  Mrs Mac gets a nice peice of low fat chicken.:P
