Yeah, it was a close call between Dundee and Hull apparently. Both of 'em are full of people who can't speak English but Hull won it because they're less likely to vote for independence.

Dundee is vastly improving, it's a much nicer city than it used to be

Honest opinion? Who cares where it is ? it is still spending money that we don't have on something we don't need whichever way you look at it!

Another "Euromadness" exercise!

Does the unemployed electrician nearing retirement whose small private pension has been destroyed
by a wunch of bankers and a Government of overpaid greedy self effacing nondescript t****rs care about
his City being labelled as a "city of Culture"??

Surely you didn't agree with the bit about our politicians being self-effacing?

Future versus Past: Football Result

City of Culture (2017) 0 – 1  Great Exhibition (1851)

It seems that if JT's metaphorical unemployed electrician had been at the footie yesterday he would have been chanting to the opposing fans "You're only here for the culture!".

I am obsessed with the 1851 Exhibition.  The best thing Prince Albert every masterminded.  If I could go back in time, there would be no competition, this is where I would go.
