The best cover in history in my opinion (and maybe Lou's, he loved this version by the BBC)

Yes, I agree, a good cover of a brilliant song. I,m not usually into cover versions, but today I have been listening to bbc live lounge cover songs by different artistes, some were suprisingly good.

I loved "Walk on the Wild Side" it takes me back to the dance routine performed by Pans People, remember them? I also love the bass guitar on that song performed by Herbie Flowers who I imagined to be a black blues musician, I was surprised to find he was white and called Keith !! (Sorry boss, couldn't resist)

I saw Lou in the 70's at the Rainbow theatre Finsbury Park and Golden Earring were the support act!
Really good concert and Trevor Bolder (rip) was sat in front of us.
Great memories of a class act   :)
