I fortunately avoided it.

As someone who has to force herself through the commercial debacle that is Christmas, being conned into making further unnecessary purchases is not something I fell for.

More American nonsense.

I cannot think of anything I need or even want enough to lower myself to such a level.

TA has suggested we do our Christmas shopping tomorrow and to appease me he added 'to get it over with'. Not one member of my family or friends needs anything I can afford to buy.

I want to just get shopping vouchers for everyone but TA says it isn't allowed.

The traffic round my way was noticeably heavier but I wasn't sucked in.
I shop at supermarkets at 10 or 11 pm. A far more dignified way of shopping.
Less violence and no buggers outside holding their hands out for money.
(their probably in the pub at that hour spending their days takings)

The video footage I have seen is shocking, naked greed at its most base.
I can't comprehend the mentality of people who behave in such a way.

Are these idiots the group of people who are so eloquently described as "savvy shoppers"? >:(
