Are there any car boot sales coming up in Hisaronu?
-
Apparently they are looking for someone to run it at the moment so it is a bit uncertain. The last one only had about ten tables and was a bit of a nono....pity :)
-
There is going to be a boot sale in Hisaronu on 14th June. Although there were not may stalls there last time there was a guy there selling paintings at very reasonable prices, which I think personally was well worth the trip down to the market square.
-
Good to hear that the Hisaronu car boot sale is on this weekend.
-
Hi all,
Hisarönü carboot sale has never ever stopped. Marianne, the lady who has been organizing the whole thing cannot do it anymore due to busy business season, however, i am responsible of this organisation now. The sales should be more popular than ever because you are not limited to sell second hand; you can find either rare handcrafts, original works of art or brand new IKEA items in the market. We will continue the sales throughout the year as long as the weather permits us. If not, we will do it the following Sunday. Last one was not a success because there were uncertanities about the organization and everybody thought it was stopped together with Çalis car boot sale.
Next one is this Sunday, 14th of June. Same place; Hisarönü Monday Market Area. If you have something to sell, you will be charged 10 YTL for each car, 15 for a van. You are free to hire tables for 5 YTL, or you can bring your own. All proceeds and donations raised from the stalls go to the Local Children's School, ÖLÜDENiZ iLKÖÃRETiM OKULU. Or you can just pop in, and enjoy shopping. You are all welcome.
Any further questions?
Just call me... 533 339 76 29 Nilgün :)

Hooray someone who knows whats going on thankyou you very much and welcome to the forum.
-
Hello everyone,
See you all tomorrow (June 14, Sunday 07:00-14.30) at Hisarönü carboot sale...
-
How often are the car boot sales held in Hisaronu?
-
Hi,
The sales are held every second Sunday of the month all year round. Next one is on July 12, Sunday.
-
Hope it is better than yesterdays......in and out in 5 minutes flat:(
-
Will get better... thanks for your concern!
-
Am I correct in thinking the next boot sale is this Sunday, 8th November? And if so, do we know if there will be tables available to hire as there were none last time. Any help in this matter greatfully received.
-
I guess it did not happen then?
-
it did happen....around twenty stalls were there ...no tables available though.
-
Reminders would do wonders for the attendance figures! we asumed it was not happening as no one bothered to answer Minnimoo's post.... would have gone but as a result did not bother.:(
-
I did do the car boot sale yesterday...went along on the off chance it was still on. All I can say is...organised chaos. No tables available to rent, no stewards telling folk where to park, and no one collecting money for the pitches. In the event, due to high winds, most folk packed up and left by 10.30 am anyway.
-
Don't forget that the Calis Car Boot sale is on 22 November. No need to book, if you want a stall it is 10 tl a pitch, plus 2tl for any table that you hire. Please be there by 8 o'clock to be sure of a pitch.
If you are just coming to browse, no charge but donations to the children's charity are more than welcome.
Come along, meet your friends, pick up a bargain or two, have a happy time and go and have lunch at one of the local restuarants.
-
Now that is the way to do it........even if it was sneaked in on the Hissy page:D
-
Obviously Hissy folk are welcome though:D
-

It has always been the 2nd Sunday of the month, but I will post dates nearer the time so nobody misses out.Maybe we can make this as successful as Calis, and make much needed monies for the school.
Mutlu Noel to you as well.

If you get the dolmus to drop you off before there, at the crossroads where Yalcins is on the right and Taha homes on the left, from the main road turn right on the crossroads (there is a market on the corner) take the next right, then 1st left, 1st right, follow the road around the bend, and you will see a big greeny/blue building...that is the school. Can't think of any land marks around to help out, if you get off the dolmus there, the walk to the school should only take you about 5 minutes.
