I admit that, setting apart, I've never been a fan of this restaurant. I always felt that the standard of food was, at best average, particularly in view of the prices being charged.
I was taken there for lunch today, as "payment" for dog sitting through Christmas. Bread + olives, spiced olive oil & ezme arrived & then I had prawn guvec, my friend steak fajitas, both very tasty, hot & a decent sized portion. With a glass of wine, cola & free nescafe & English tea, the bill was 91tl. The service was slick & friendly.
Definitely back on the list :P

lets see if it continues once the season starts. :-\

Thanks Liz - my opinion of it is exactly your prior one - and it's a shame because it is a lovely place with huge potential but one we never even consider investing one of our precious 7 evenings in.
If the reviews stay good I'd like to give it a try when we come over.

Sunday buffet breakfast is fabulous.

Apparently 'Weddings by Carole' are starting to do weddings at the Sat this year, so evenings to have a meal out on the decked area may be limited.
-
May be thats why they are refurbishing the area to the left of the entrance with all new plants, grass and so on.The photos from there are stunning.

Had a very mediocre meal there with Lance a few years ago, as said above, great setting spoilt by average food at above average prices, have to change a lot to get my hard earned pounds back in their till!

I have to agree, the kids took us there for our anniversary and it was massively underwhelming, it would take a succession of glowing reviews to get us back
-
I would also have to agree with the average quality/high prices appraisals. Haven't been there in years - but might give their Sunday breakfast a go this year, many people raving about it.
-
How much are they charging for Sunday buffet breakfast and what's included?

Blimmin autocorrect. Might get a few more punters though so won't edit :)

" Blimmin " I have not heard that one for years. That's how refined people swore. :)

We took 4 of our friends there for a Sunday breakfast buffet, they were so impressed, the food was endless and the views to die for. Hangovers instantly disappeared! I'd def recommend this place for breakfast. 8)
