One day, while wandering along the road John bumped into Rob, an old friend from school.
“You look great John, how come you stay looking so young? You must be 60 now - same as me - but you don’t look a day over 45!”
“Loads of exercise and good food. I feel as fit as a fiddle!” replied John.
“That’s incredible” exclaimed Rob, “It must be in the genes. How old was your dad when he passed away?”
“Did I say he was dead?” said John. “He’s 83 and is more active then ever. He's just renewed his membership at the local tennis club" responded John.
“Good grief, that's amazing! What about your grandfather - how old was he when he died?”
“Did I say he died?” asked John.
Rob was amazed.
“He's just had his 105th birthday, still plays golf and goes swimming every day! In fact, he's getting married next week!”
“Getting married?! He's 105 years old! Why on earth does he want to get married at that age?!
John looked at Rob and replied, “Did I say he wanted to?”
