Them being the 4 Polish nationals who savagely beat the Lecturer to a pulp in Wimbledon.Three of them with 32 previous convictions between them, Now we have to foot the bill for their time inside. How were they allowed into the UK in the first place? When will we get tougher on who we let in

We really need to adopt the procedure that Australia has regarding persons with criminal records attempting to enter their country.

I agree with the above comments. Unfortunately until the government grow a pair and tackle the issues head on and stand up to Brussels the answer will be never. Don't get me started on them coming over and getting benefits and housing etc. >:(

Why does our Government allow criminals into the country. Three of these guys had long police records in Poland. So, they should not be allowed into Great Britain.
I hope they are deported when they have finished their sentences.

When the Channel Tunnel was being constructed  there was public concerns about security.

A minister at that time, I think it was the late Tony Benn said a rabid fox couldn't get through

undetected. He failed to mention the rest of the Worlds population. Last year an illegal immigrant

with a long criminal record in his own country was released from prison in London, having served

3 years of a 6 year term for a serious crime. A Judge, surprisingly, ordered his immediate deportation

and he was taken back to his own country. Six days later he was arrested in London committing a

serious crime.!!    Laughing stock comes to mind.     >:( >:(
