Looking at flights to get out for a short break early Aug, and wondering if anyone knows if TA are adopting the vacant middle seat plan? or are all 3 seats being occupied. I know Queasy Jet are stacking em in. I don't have an issue one way or another, just want to know for booking seats with Family.
Thanks Muchly

Our flight with TA was completely full from Gatwick to Dalaman 3 weeks ago.
-
I've been told by people flying over there are no empty seats on TA flights, nor any other apart from the odd clearly unsold seat.

Avaguess & Nichola,
Thank you kindly for taking the time to respond. Got a TA flight out from LGW to DLM, and the plt thickens, as went to book seats and only available seats where the window and aisle seats. I can't for the life of me believe that every middle seat both sides have been booked ???
I feel a call to TA is on the cards. Coming back via Queasy Jet so no issue there.
Stay safe everyone and Calis here we come, missed being out there so much and not been there since Feb.

Went out on Monday and back today with THY. No restrictions on seating but there were several empty seats on both flights. Masks must be worn at all times though.

Hello KKOB.
Did you have to complete the government form for the UK arrival leg 48 hours before you arrived in the UK?
-
Yes. It was quite chaotic at Dalaman as half the people trying to check-in hadn't completed the form. I'd completed mine so got pulled to the front of queue.
-
Nice one KKOB- meant to ask, did you print yours off?
-
No. Just completed it on my phone once I knew my flight details. Then received the confirmation email showing a reference number. At check-in just showed the reference number and they recorded it.
-
Hi KKOB. I’m a little confused. Did you show the refefence number coming into the UK at immigration on entry to the UK. I’ve already partially completed the form for entry into Turkey to show them on arrival.
-
The form for returning to the Uk is on the Government website and has to be filled in 48hrs before returning, it gives you a receipt to show it has been completed, you have to show this at check in. Some say that it has to be shown at immigration on your return others say not.

The policy at Dalaman is 'No Form, No Fly'. This is based on the fact that airlines are responsible for ensuring that ALL passengers have completed the form and can show a reference number as proof.
It doesn't HAVE to be shown at UK Immigration but they MAY ask to see it.

We have returned to the U.K. today via Easyjet and at no point either at Dalaman or Gatwick were we asked to provide proof that we had completed the online passenger locator form. ???
