Airport transfers
« on: June 25, 2013, 20:22:57 PM »
I'm moving out to Uzumlu in October and I'm trying to figure out a way of bringing as much as I can with me as cheap as I can !
I have decided to fly out on Jet2 and I can check in 3 hold bags 22kgs each. My daughter has offered to come with me and help for a week, which is fantastic as I can now bring 6 x 22 kg cases. The problem is now, How on earth do I get 2 adults and 6 huge cases from Dalaman to Uzumlu ???
Any suggestions anyone ?

It may have to be a taxi or hire a car.

Why not try Pegasus or any other transfer company but explain to them you will have 6 suitcases. If they come in a minibus you will get them all in no problem.
Pegasus are doing a deal for CBF members.

I'm thinking it will have to be a minibus as most taxis are saying 4 cases max !

With regard your move to uzumlu with 6 large bags, please contact my very reliable friend and transfer for 7 years rambotaxis@hotmail.com mention that Melek gave you his details so he doesn't wonder where you got them. I did ask him before posting here x

Hi Suzy

I think you are so lucky to be moving out full time. We have been visiting for 5 years and enjoy every minute we are there and the people, the food, the weather etc etc etc.

Only 9 years of work to go until out there full time.

Good luck

We hired a mini bus with driver for all our luggage when we moved over in June had 25 mixed cases and boxes 200 kg in all, we hired from Propercar at the charge of 118 Euro.
