I would just like to add that Nadia's is open but under totally new management, I've not been in, and not trying to advertise it, but would hate so see a new business suffer because of the old attitudes. Its called Flairs by the way.

What was allowed to happen must not be forgotten and if the message eventually gets through to those prepared & willing to exploit ignorance and naivete then any amount of posting on the subject will be worthwhile.

Keith, spot on.

It is amazing the number of people - even those owning properties in Hisaronu - who never knew about it! Totally amazing, they must be so blinkered. The atrocity should never be forgotten but how the council see fit to leave this eyesore as a tribute to their greed, cruelty and ignorance is beyond me. You would think they'd want to get rid of the evidence and restore the land to the childrens playground that it should always have remained!!

Agreed Hillside.  I had one conversation where a Turkish man said they have dolphins in Marmaris so why not here.  He knew the dolphins were ill before they were moved.  Yet his attitude it was why did that happen here and not there instead of the whole damn thing is wrong.
Most folk it is out of sight out of mind.
So sad because we need Turkish people to stop it happening in their country

and yet it is continuing,  in marmaris and in Kas.....when will the Turkish government wake up and do something about it ??  It is SO damaging their reputation and credibility.  Money has so much to answer for in this world, and yet used correctly it could do so much good....:(

By the way, if you do all still feel so strongly,  help the fight for Marmaris / Kas dolphins; Start campaigning with the same passion that we fought for Misha and Tom and it might just work.....(groups are alive and kicking on FB, and would welcome your support, emailing, phoning, campaigning etc....any help appreciated).

Good on you Pookie.:D  There are things going on that we do not have full access to yet but we have to try to keep the pages going as best we can.  It is a different fight and will probably go on much longer but it would be good to have you all on board.
