No need to unless it's the same password. Paypal Has not been breached.

However if you use your eBay password for any other sites it should be changed as well.

Says who ? It's taken Ebay 3 months to admit this latest breach.

The company owns and runs the internet payment system PayPal, but claimed that this was not involved in the raid, saying: ‘PayPal data is stored separately on a secure network, and all PayPal financial information is encrypted.’

I run a pretty foolproof system with paypal anyway. I link it to a debit card which is in turn linked to a second current account I have, which in turn has no money in it and no overdraft facility. When I wish to buy something using paypal I transfer money into the account and then pay for my items. Anyone hacking paypal will get coppers (if there are a few left in the account).

If I sell anything it gets removed from paypal asap.

Seems to work for me OK and makes me sleep easy.

Me to Nichola, ihave an e bayaccount but not used it for a long time, not sure i know my password to change it.

No problem KKOB - there's nothing anyone can do to get money through my paypal account  - there is never anything in it  :)

Just go to the log in screen on eBay, enter your user name or email and then hit the 'forgot my password' option

Have changed Paypal as well just to be sure.
