Title: Can anyone tell me how I can do blog please?

I am not awfully computer literate and wonder if I could find a simple way to set  up a blog and be security safe.Thanks for any hints!

I use Wordpress.
Its free, you can choose from a variety of layouts for your blog.
You type as a word document, add photos, links etc and upload your posts.
