I seem to have a problem I have lost the use of four keys 4 ? e and now can anyone tell me what is wrong and where to get it repaired.I have been commenting on the forum using similar letters to make the word forgetting the on screen keyboard which takes ages to use. I am a yorkshireman Tik int hed

Arte the four keys next to each other or random? Are we talking pc or laptop?

That's a shame, if it was a PC you can run the keyboard under the tap - seriously  :)

One of the common problems with keys is crumbs/grit under them - try giving it a serious battering with multiple key presses with some force to try and crush anything underneath. Failing that, the keys often just ping off if you stick a small screwdriver or similar under them - you might be able to see the problem.

In the mean time, as an alternative to on screen keyboard, try using a spell checker add-on for your browser. Spell it wrong, right click with a mouse and choose the correct spelling.

Thanks Scunner will give it a go there is a lot of dust round Gunlukbasi they are fimally putting road in which is a nightmare will let you know when I have had some sleeps

Try turning the laptop upside down and giving it a good shake. Not while it's on !! Also hoover it with the little brush attachment.
