A British couple had to be saved by Turkish rescuers after getting lost in a mountain forest just a few hundred yards from their holiday home.
Patrick McSweeney, 66, and his partner Irene Pittaway, 62, had bought a house in the popular resort of Fethiye on the so-called Turquoise Coast in south-west Turkey 12 years ago and thought they knew the area well.
But they took a wrong turn on a woodland path during a morning walk and ended up going round in circles all day.

Two people get lost on the so-called Turquoise cost says the the so-called newspaper Daily Mail that misplaced Uzumlu onto the so-called Turquoise Coast when really it was many hundred of miles away. Who spilt the beans on this little gem? One of their so-called friends?

They realized they were lost when they walked past the same rock 4 times! They have very good eyes for distinguishing one rock from another, in a forest, full of rocks :D but can't find their way out. Maybe if they could distinguish one tree or path from another they would have found their way no problem ;)

There's no need to scoff, this is quite common when out walking somewhere unfamiliar. Shrek & Donkey had already passed the tree that looked like Shirley Bassey three times at this point:

I once got lost in that so called Turkish market in Calis, I must have gone past a handbag shop at least twelve times!
