Down the beach front yesterday I noticed that where Serkul 2 once was is now a pile of rubble....

Serkul 2 definatley gone. Not sure about George's though...

Eyna and Georges are both coming down and being rebuilt and the plan is to have letting rooms above them.
We were told this by Savas who is the owner's son at George's
I did not hear anything about the Serkul though.
Images would be good if possible please??   Ta   :)

It was definitely Georges that came down yesterday I sat and watched then.. Talking to Nalan from the Eyna, that will come down today. Serkul 2 was definitely still standing yesterday when I was down there.

Georges and Eyna will both be back, they are just being rebuilt.

update. walked up the front today. eyna and georges have been completely demolished. serkul 1 and serkul 2 still standing. in fact serkul 2 has the winter sheets up so they may be open during the winter months.

That's the sturdiest scaffold I think I have ever seen in Calis and the walls look almost plumb  :).

Erhan. The owner of The Eyna has posted on Facebook that he will be staying at The Lighthouse this season so presumably the Eyna will not be opening this season.. I don't know about George's. .. Maybe Liz will know more?

I spoke to Savas from Georges in February and he was confident that they would be open in May.

Erhan & Nalan will not be returning to the Eyna this season. Erhan has said that the Eyna will be put on the market

Looks like it hadn't been started. It must be quite a decision though, to start a major construction with 2016 tourism figures looking terrible. Maybe they have decided not to risk it? I couldn't blame them if so.
