does anyone know how many golf courses are to be built in dalaman area? I know of one which will be completed next year. its situated next to the hilton spa hotel in sarigerme;

Have you seen the where the golf course is in Sarigerme? We visited there last week and it is just a load of sand with some poles where they intend to put the flags. There are some photos posted on the Any Other places forum if you want to see them. Maybe they will build a golf course there eventually but at the moment there are only some large hotels in the area. I think the Hilton is open in July.

Belek has some beautiful courses though and is only two hours drive away near Antalya.

they have been working on the sarigerme site seven days a week twelve,thirteen hours per day .Stayed in sarigerme for a few days end of may

They were working on it seven days a week twelve,thirteen hours per day three years ago, it still looks the same today as it did then.

Is that what that slope coming down from the houses on the hill at Sarigerme is? I thought it was just a very dangerous road.

I must admit that a couple of years ago as we were taking off I did see what appeared to be the fairways of the course. They looked green and almost ready. I guess things either came to a halt or they ripped it all up and started again.

Shame - at that point I really did think it was about to open.
