Why are used cars so expensive in Turkey.
-
He he he, welcome to Turkey Kevin.
Used cars are expensive because new cars are expensive, import duties and the like are pretty ghastly. From new, they do tend to hold value a bit better than UK as demand is higher for second hand. Do what I did, buy the car you want new and do it in the knowledge that you will drive it for the next 15 years then chuck it in a skip ;)

Chuck it in a skip !!!!
That would double the value of the skip.

Take the wheels off, rip the roof off and use it as a skip then :)

Only 15 years Keith, you must be mistreating it, there's a lot of Mk2 Cortinas (rust buckets in the UK) still around out here, let alone the Renault 20's. Cars must be good here for at least 40 years ;).
Mind you they are probably like Triggers brush (only fools and horses), he had the same brush for 15 years, only had 3 new handles and 5 new heads.:D:D:D
