Title: Smoking
Post by: janet.gur on August 07, 2004, 11:56:31 AM
I know I shouldn't but I do - smoke that is.  Can anyone tell me which English cigarettes are readily available in Calis and how much per packet/200 packet.  Thanks

Janet smoke the Turkish cigs they're fine.
I smoked Windsor which I think worked out around £9 for 200 if my memory serves me right.

Thanks for the advice Anne but I've tried them before and I can't smoke the Turkish cigs.  What about English, can I get B & H and if so how much?

As you pass through passport control and just before you leave to terminal at Dalaman there are a couple of stalls selling cigs.  My wife smokes JPS and normally as a problem getting these abroad.  In May she got 200 for £12.50 having paid £22.50 6 hours earlier at Manchester Airport.

[xx(]Beware of the cigs at Dalaman Airport.  I bought 400 Silk Cut from one of the shops near the luggage belt @ £10/box 200 in June this year, and they were fake!  They were really strong and burnt away nothing in next to no time.  After a few days I had a terrible cough.

However, I still smoked all 400 before I bought any more![xx(]

On the britannia flights B&H have been 400 for £19.50 for ages, cheaper than Thomas Cook.
