Get me out of this bloody country we used to be Great Britain ,now U.K.we are now nothing, just watching my local news in the south a 101 year old man beaten and robbed of his savings.
But worst of all this has really p....d me all our troops returning from   Iraqi marched through Luton there main base and were booed and shouted at by groups of Iraqis and we let them get away with it what other country in the world would let that happen no wonder we are now just u.k.roll on 3 weeks time when i move to turkey ,at least you know where you stand out there .:(:-\

It's not only immigrants. This parade was to welcome home the RIR from Afghanistan. [:(!]

I was digsusted with the protest Lance but surely the point is that the protestors were allowed to express their views. I think you'll find that the backlash against this protest will prove what a decent country this is.

The irony is that it's because of our troops that they are allowed to air their views in public. Maybe they should all go to Iran or Afghanistan and try a similar protest. I'm pretty sure they would not be allowed to do so.

We all want freedom of speech and yet some cannot see how or why this is allowed. Democracy is alien to some yet they are hypocritical enough to use it to their advantage when it suits.

Just the point I was going to make Stoop, although there may well be some truth in what Tink said.

That protest was a step too far, I think there will be a backlash from it,our local radio station was flooded with calls today, and most of them prepared to make a stand, this country is a joke,

They have achieved their goal, you are talking about those fifteen people instead of the 2,000 supporters that also turned up.

Watched a documentary about this last week.  Apparently teenagers have an internal clock which adjusts with the chemical changes in their body during adolescence.  Research has shown that they now 'peak' around 10 - 3 each day, and therefore that is the best time for them to concentrate and focus.  American schools have been trialling the new schooling hours system for some time. The Documentary was really interesting actually and does explain why i can't get my 15 year old daughter out of her pit in the mornings !!! :)

All children from the age of five should attend school from 7am to 6pm six days a week 50 weeks a year and the two week holiday should be taken at Christmas. When they go to the supermarket with their
parents they should be locked up in a large cage outside, this will give us normal shoppers some peace and quiet.

The age limit for shoppers should be 18 to 80 I say 80 so that the over 80s can stay home and winge about the good old days and their
meager pensions.

(There are only two kinds of children in my life,
ones I dislike and ones I hate)[:(!]

went to MK marks and sparks today, evrywhere I looked OAPs with walking sticks hobbleing along blocking the gang ways. I thought the winter we just had would have cleared out a few but no, they just hibenate? and come out when the weather warms up.
