Many Thanks.

Migros sell French salted butter but it's 7.45tl for 200gms. I get the Pinar butter and just sprinkle salt on.

Most of the butter here is salted apart from the Pinar in a green and silver packet/wrapping but it does clearly say unsalted butter.
If it says Tereyagi tuzlu it is salted....if it says Tereyagi Tuzsuz it is unsalted.

I used to dissolve salt into boiling water, then mix and fold it into the butter - it takes a few minutes to all come together but it's worth it if you prefer not to feel the salt crystals in your sarnie  :)

BIM sell it 5.80TL for 500g or any of the markets - ask for "village" butter -  costs 10TL a kilo & they let you try before you buy.
