Title: Show unread posts since last visit function
Post by: Supacabby on June 06, 2012, 21:10:20 PM
Hi Keith,

I am a big fan of this function however it isn't currently working for me. I logged in last night, had a nose, switched laptop off but stayed logged in, now fired up CBF, hit the button & "no posts" was the message. Is it "pilot error" or a malfunction?

PS: Thanks for all the hard work in getting the new n shiny forum up & running, very much appreciated.

Supacabby, I think you need to close the tab for the forum for this function to work, Not necessarily log out though. I stay logged in all the time but put my lappy in sleep mode when I come off it after closing down internet tabs. When I then Click on CBF in my favourites bar it takes me straight to unread posts like the old forum.

I am not sure if it is user specific?
The way I got it was to log in as normal (select always stay logged in when you log in), select 'show unread posts since last visit' then bookmark it.
Then I never log out I just close tabs on Google or select another bookmark when I've seen all I want to see.

I tried it & it works so it isn't user specific, thanks for the help.
