Title: Service call out charges

We had a new satellite dish installed in August this year. It was necessary to call the installer out during the past few days as we had lost all signal. He arrived this morning and advised that he had fitted a new part which was covered by the guarantee. He then he advised us that we had to pay 60TL which was the service charge from Fethiye to Uzumlu. We queried this as he had to come out to replace the faulty part.he advised us that all British people pay for service charges as this is standard for Turkey.
Your thoughts please whether this is normal practice

He means a lot of Brits are daft enough to pay it.

 Ben aptal görünüyorum? (Do I look stupid?) is a very useful Turkish phrase to remember followed by Siktir Git (Go away in short jerky movements. )

Thankyou, when we refused to pay he said that he would go and disconnect the dish which made us quite angry! We told him that we had to get money from the bank and we would go to the shop to pay him. This will not be happening now!
