Title: Premiership Managers...I wonder
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on December 08, 2013, 18:17:27 PM
I wonder do M.U. wish they had employed Roberto Martinez instead of Moyes?  Martinez seems to be a great Manager and is doing wonders with Everton.
I also wonder do Chelsea fans think they were a bit quick getting rid of Rafa, ( who made a good job during the time he was there) and employing the special one?

It's high time some of the prima donna players had a serious look at themselves.

Managers can do little once their team has crossed the white line.

No, I think if Moyes struggles with the job it might have crushed Martinez. Just my opinion. I think Moyes will come good and I well remember how exposed Ferguson became just before he started to turn things around. I think the Fergie experience will give Moyes more time than he may have been given usually.

I also think he has a very poor squad, probably the worst since Fergie took charge. Having said that, had the gone for and got Ozil I think they would have had one hell of a team.

Same squad Fergie left him plus Fellaini. I think Moyes is doing a great job.

Yes, this says a lot... Fergie knew what exactly what he was doing, he left at the right time for him. Things have changed a lot in the Premiership since Fergie took over and he knew he could not compete with the Billionaire owners in the transfer market.  He went whilst the going was good.
