Title: Small complex near Sunday Market - any suggestions?
Post by: Bluwise on September 20, 2015, 10:15:07 AM
We fancy a change from our usual location and would like to look at the Sunday market area.  Can anyone suggest any small apartment complexes (e.g. 4 to 6 apartments) near there please?

Thanks Anne, can't find anything on google for Lemon 5  :(  Do you know anyone who owns/rents there?

Thanks Jacqui but Diamond looks quite a big complex on the pics.

Is that Lemon 5 you're referring to Scunner, or Diamond?

Shamless, Janett Bickley on here has one on Lemon Sue.
Think there is about 8 apartments on the site but any time I have been visiting it's been really peaceful and quiet as not
everyone rents out so all apartments are never full at the same time

We always stay at the Golden Moon apartments set on the main road leading from the prom to the Sunday market. There are only 8 apartments, nice pool, quiet area, very well equipped and not too pricy. If you google Golden Moon apartments you will find them.  A couple of the owners rent out with Owners Direct, where you will probably see my reviews of our experience.

We have our holiday home at Sunshine, pm me if you would like further details. If you have a look at the reviews it will give you an idea of what it's like.

Aydin Apartments are about a 10 minute stroll to the Sunday Market. There are only four apartments inside a walled garden very secluded and with a private pool. I posted a thread on here some weeks ago about one of them being up for sale which had a photograph of the building in it.

It is lovely looks really nice, saw some Russian looking at the place today, but a bit far out from the Sunday Market area.  Down the road with the Ukcun Market and Ay-De Markets on the corners , then over the bridge and down again on the right.

Which complex do you mean Jacqui - the one Neil has just mentioned?

Thanks for the tip Neil B   :)

Yes, lovely place so smart looking and very new but may be a bit far to walk for you.  We pass it on the way to our place.

I'm confused as Neil has said between Mustafa Kemel and Sunday market?  We usually stay near the two little shops so I know the area you mean  :-\

This last hol, I walked each day down to the prom despite the heat.  Walking from over the bridge would be pushing it though    ;)

Yes the road that goes inbetween the two markets then the Kelebek Apartments, over the old upsidedown bridge and straight on the place is on the right.
Unless there is an another block called the Korfez.
This is it

Long way to walk, I would think I see a dolmus going up and down that road, but lots of cars parked outside the main gates, which does have a Watchman.

Thanks Jacqui - gorgeous place indeed but too far to walk!  I think the dolmus you've seen only goes part way down BM and turns off to the market area.

That's only a wee stroll Sue
We walk up and down from Violet most of the time  :)

A wee stroll  ;D  We stayed near you Anne, just by the gym. We walked down each day too but that extra bit over the bridge would finish me off  :'(

The dolmus goes over the bridge and passed this place and then over and passed us.  We saw some Brits waiting on the road near us for the dolmus.  So there is a service, but not sure how frequent it is.
