could some people just give me some basic words and phrases plz- things such as how are you, im fine, wats your name, how much is this...etc

hi nicky,best thing is to do a search on this site,click on search above where you logout on the right at the top of page,there is plenty of info in here,this was supplied by dippey,so it must be right?

Must update the bit about going to the doctors with a rash, and how to ask "Do you have a home DNA kit please?"

Nicky, thats a joke:D, if you want the basics just pop down whsmithy or any other place and pick up the basic word phrase book.

lol, i took your advice and went down to whsmith- picked up a turkish phrase book and dictionary- its very helpful,

I'm learning turkish at the moment and i've a set called 'teach yourself turkish' or something. As it comes with a CD, it makes it a lot easier to pick up and stick in you memory. Also I find getting the lyrics to turkish songs and singing along really helps, especially with pronunciation. Just a tip!
