Title: Turkish visa problems

Anyone having problems today.Paid for visa the other day went to access it today to print out but cannot access due to "internal server error".Daughter flying out this afternoon visa paid for but no visa!

I take it the fact that it's paid for and we have e mail confirmation links it to your passport electronically so when they scan your passport they see your visa

Yes.

Although it's not a necessity, it's worthwhile printing a copy of it if you can incase there are computer problems at the airport. And, it's always handy to have if you get stopped by the Polis or Jandarma and are asked to produce.

There have been issues with a lot of government web sites this week.  Hopefully it'll settle down soon, but who knows...

The current British foreign & commonwealth office advice is to carry your passport & e visa (or residence permit) at all times, so try and persist in getting a copy of it before you travel.
