Title: Thank you, Mustafa Arıkök (Inspector)
Post by: hornedfrog on October 12, 2021, 09:50:46 AM
Just a brief note to say a quick "thanks!" to Mustafa Arıkök (known in these parts as Inspector) for a smooth and easy appointment in preparation for my residency permit. Good communication before and a good laugh during the meeting with both Mustafa and his wife.

Next step: interview!

Wish me luck!

Just out of interest.. What currently is the time scale for completing a residency i.e from setting up to receiving your residency permit.

I had to wait about 3 days for my appointment at the DGMM, from there it was 5 working days before I received my new card

Wow that was quick Liz. Was this for a continuous residency i.e a follow on? or one from scratch.?
For us In the past it was 6months and then over a period of time came down to 4/6 wks. So yours is a big improvement on the old system.

@daveg...that was about the same timeline I had; very quick and efficient, especially for a first-time residency application. I had my card in my hand within 4 business days, much faster than the expected 3-4 weeks but that may be due to reduced volume because of Covid and "out of season".

Good morning, legless. While there are a few people that you'll find recommended on this forum (and other fora), I really believe Mustafa Arıkök is the best, at least from my own experience.

Having dealt with a number of services and officials in various capacities and reasons, Mustafa is the real deal...I really could not believe it went as smoothly as it did. I suggest you reach out to him (his handle is "Inspector" and is the second comment on this thread above) and put yourself in his hands.

PM me if you want to discuss my experience, but seriously, speak with Mustafa.

Here here us too we would not use anyone else other then Mustafa and his wife is also lovely, honest and friendly people - even when doing something like this we feel we are in the company of old friends which is how you want to feel, and the whole process is made sooo simple and painless by them 🇹🇷❤️😀
