I was sitting with a Turkish friend of mine and we were looking at a few forums. We came across a thread on another forum that looked quite interesting.
Beware shopping at Akbuk Tansas Rather than paste the whole charade, it appears there was an argument at the checkout because the english resident had 2 trolley loads to pay for and the guy behind got impatient. Anyway punches were exchanged and the english chap was arrested by Jandarma.
The thread on this other forum has now intimated that mafia is involved
:D but on a serious note, the original author posted these comments further into the thread......
how dare they think we are the invaders,we are the saviours, just look at the turkish economy now, only becausewe the europeans made it that way,if only they can see further then the tip of their noses, the community spirit will be positively strongerMy Turkish friend wants to know if this is an isolated perception or something that others feel when they move to this wonderful country.
