Turkish Lessons on CBF?
« on: October 05, 2007, 16:17:56 PM »
We are now taking Turkish lessons in Oxford, but as the beginner class was cancelled we are fast tracking it in the 'improvers' class!!

One of the best ways to learn anything is to teach it to someone else, so is anyone interested in having a weekly class here??

I thought maybe I could post what I have learnt in a lesson and then if anyone has any questions or wants to correct what I have put on, they just follow the thread.

Does anyone think they would use this? Scunner - do you have any objections??

First lesson would be 'introductions'........

Look forward to hearing for you!
PS - I don't know how we would get over the 'role play' scenarios...

Thanks Keith

I'll try to post my first lesson tomorrow evening, then I'll try and post all fututre lessons on a Friday evening.

How about I post a lesson, give a couple of days for everyone to try and learn it (or at leats look at it), then I'll post a time for a role play in the chat room and we can practice it in there!! (I haven't ever been in the chat room - does it still exist and work??). My lessons are Thursdays, so if anyone has any questions I can't answer (and I'm sure there will be plenty), I'll ask my teacher when I do my class.

We can see how it goes anyway! It would be good if it worked!
