Roof and Tiling
« on: November 19, 2007, 19:21:09 PM »
It has become very clear that following the recent storms a number of properties have had quite significant damage to their roofs. In our case on further investigation the roof tiles have simply been laid on the roof and we believe they should have been nailed down as every bit of wind dislodges them.

Our developer who gave a five year guarantee to the properties state it is an insurance claim we think otherwise and believe it is sub standard construction which leaves the property open to the elements during the winter.

Has anyone any thoughts on this as even dealing with a claim from the UK with our turkish insurers could be difficult .
