I've E-Mailed the bank but as yet have had no reply.Can anyone tell me is there a daily restriction on what you can withdraw out. Either GBP or TL?

I drew 5,000 lira out the other day, i don't suppose you need any more than that, unless you're a beer monster, lol. Alan

I took out £65,000 one day

I had to ask them for a bag to put it in, they must have thought it quite normal to leave a bank with such sums on show

When I asked for £40,000 from Finnans a few weeks ago they did not have enough GBP in. I had to wait till the next day, best to give them notice if you can

It's not like the UK then £500 max per day!!! thanks for info. I only want £3000 so should be no problem.

No limit that I've found but it's well worth ringing them the day before if it's a large sum, just to make sure that they have the cash available.

your right i asked them for quite a large sum a few months ago in sterling and they told me i had to wait for nearly a week.
