Part of the new security system for all banks in Turkey from tomorrow. Not sure about Turkish/English phone no though.

As soon as you try to log in you will recieve a number via your registered phone to use as password, also once into account some services will do it again.

Once you have contacted them and they have your mobile number, you will recieve by text a code to contine log in, you will recieve new code each time you log in. It's no problem for them to have your english number, friends of mine in the uk have already registered and it all works ok.

You will probably find that if you wish to change your contact number, in order to receive your single pin access numbers, that you will need to send a signed mandate either by fax or by prior agreement with your bank scanned and E mailed. They will not accept just an E mail. HSBC have a form for this which you can obtain from your branch and I presume other banks will have similar.

Many thanks for all the info.

Finansbank phoned me on my UK land line in response to my email sent to them an hour earlier and explained everything to me and now all sorted.

Texted SMS password to my Uk mobile

Cant imagine my UK bank taking the time to phone me on New Years Eve to help!!!

Have a very happy New Year

Good news, and before I moved here, they also called me in the UK in double quick time, a far better service than many UK banks

having trouble logging in as it says number is incorrect . it asks for a cell phone and they have already entered the first two digits 90 . what are these for , and why does it say number is incorrect , could it be because they have never had my mobile number.thanks

90 is the country code. After this, add your mobile number without the first 0.

Country code is 0090 looks like they have missed the zeros off.

You have registered the number with them only your final words would suggest not. ;)

I didn't realise a country dialling code could flummox an entire generation. They are all starting 00, hence you can ignore the 00.
