I belong to a rifle club in uk and own shotgun and rifle. Has anyone had problems taking such items when they moved to Turkey.

Officially you need Turkish citizenship to obtain a firearms licence in Turkey. For a foreigner to get citizenship you need to have held a Residence Permit for 5 years.

I imported some firearms into Turkey when I moved out 6 years ago, but the rules weren't so strict then.
